Hunters, rejoice! Capcom is slashing the price of Monster Hunter Wilds and introducing new DLC bundles — but certain versions of the game are disappearing.
Starting August 4, the Monster Hunter Wilds Deluxe Edition, the Monster Hunter Wilds Premium Deluxe Edition, and the Monster Hunter Wilds Cosmetic DLC Pass will no longer be available for purchase.
However, this means that new bundles are on the way. Monster Hunter Wilds Gold Edition, the Monster Hunter Wilds Cosmetic DLC Collection, and the Monster hunter Wilds Extras Cosmetic DLC Pack are entering the fray with content from both the main game and DLC collections, as revealed by the game's official X account on July 13.
Additionally, Monster Hunter Wilds will receive a “permanent” price reduction, also starting on August 4. No other information regarding this decrease has yet been revealed by Capcom, but players have reacted positively to the news on social media.
This news comes on the heels of the title getting announced for the Nintendo Switch 2, which came as welcome news to fans, since it skipped out on the regular Switch at launch (just months before the Switch 2 released in June 2025).
With new pricing and more DLC on the horizon, players have a lot to look forward to. Now, if only Capcom would make it so you don't need to use vouchers to edit your character's apperance...
