Crunchyroll's Game Vault has officially surpassed 100 games. Initially launched in 2023 with a limited selection of titles, mostly tied to popular anime series, the service has now expanded to 101 games thanks to three recent additions. Crunchyroll is also giving fans a sneak peek at what's coming next for its anime-themed gaming platform.
The Game Vault is available exclusively to Mega and Ultimate Fan subscribers, who also enjoy access to Crunchyroll's anime streaming library, the Crunchyroll Store, and the newly introduced Crunchyroll Manga service. You can browse the complete Game Vault lineup here.
The three new games that pushed the catalog into triple digits are all playable on mobile with touch controls or via browser, where you can use a mouse and keyboard or connect a compatible PC controller. Here's a quick rundown:
- A 2D action game with an electrifying soundtrack, inspired by the chaotic fighting anime.
- A Beyblade action game where you battle against the best in the X Championship tournament.
- Battle Chef Brigade, which IGN rated 8/10, calling it "a delicious blend of puzzle and platforming action with a pinch of anime style storytelling."
Additionally, Crunchyroll Game Vault is set to publish its first original game, Bananya Buddies, developed alongside TMS Entertainment and indie developer The MIX. Pre-registration is now open for this cat-collecting adventure.
Here's a look at more games coming to the service soon. These new titles join existing favorites like Steins;Gate, Corpse Party, and Metal Slug Tactics.
Crunchyroll has undergone significant changes since being acquired by Sony in 2021. It dropped its free ad-supported tier at the end of 2025 and raised prices in early 2026. Since then, the service has focused on making its subscription plans more valuable. The Crunchyroll Store is now limited to Mega and Ultimate Fan subscribers and is shifting toward exclusive, limited-time merchandise drops, starting with a Chainsaw Man collaboration. The Game Vault is another perk for these premium tiers, offering a unique library in the gaming subscription space. It's definitely worth exploring for anyone already subscribed to Crunchyroll for its anime content.
