Beard Papa's, the popular Japanese dessert chain with locations across the US, is teaming up with Atlus to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Persona RPG series with a special collaboration featuring themed cream puffs and merchandise.

Starting September 4, participating Beard Papa's locations in the United States will undergo a Persona-themed transformation. Expect digital menu boards, bakery case graphics, posters, and TV displays that mimic the game's iconic UI, turning the stores into real-life Persona menu screens. For dedicated fans, the Little Tokyo and Cerritos locations will feature large-format anniversary murals designed for photo ops.

The collaboration introduces five limited-time cream puff flavors: Original, Matcha, Ube S'mores, Cookies & Cream, and Double Berry, each inspired by different games in the Persona series. Gift sets are also available: a four-pack includes four cream puffs, a Persona chibi sticker sheet, and an in-game code for Persona 5: The Phantom X, while a six-pack includes six cream puffs, a blind-packed acrylic standee (one of eight designs), and the same in-game code.

Merchandise fans can also grab a ceramic mug, T-shirt, zip hoodie, and eco tote bag through the official Beard Papa's website.

The collaboration runs from September 4 to October 4, perfectly timed to build excitement for upcoming Persona releases. Persona 4 Revival, a full remake of Persona 4 Golden, is slated for February 2027, and Atlus is developing Persona 6. Additionally, a live-action Persona adaptation is in the works at Netflix, with Christopher Monfette as writer, showrunner, and executive producer, alongside Shawn Levy and Robert Atwood from 21 Laps, and Sega's Toru Nakahara.

In other news, Kazuhisa Wada, producer at Atlus's P-Studio, recently hinted that remakes of Persona 1 and 2 might be inevitable, giving fans even more to anticipate as the wait for Persona 4 Revival continues.
