GTA 6 Preorders Begin at Midnight Local Time on June 25, Ultimate Edition and Bonuses Revealed

Rockstar has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 preorders will start at midnight local time on June 25. This means preorders go live in Australia very soon, with the rest of the world following as time zones hit midnight tonight.

In a press release sent to IGN, Rockstar also detailed the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition and preorder bonuses. The game features a single-player experience launching on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. No mention was made of a new GTA Online version at launch.

The Ultimate Edition "amplifies this experience with an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia’s story," Rockstar added.

The GTA 6 website elaborates: "Welcome to Leonida, the state where anything goes. Seize everything this massive world has to offer with the GTA 6: Ultimate Edition, an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action around every corner. Ultimate Edition bonuses are threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia’s story, with new items uncovered behind each chapter."

Players who preorder digital versions can pre-load starting November 12 to ensure they can play at launch on November 19. The physical version, now confirmed, contains a download code inside the box (no disc) and will be available from November 12 to support pre-loading.

Rockstar also announced the Vintage Vice City Pack: "Flash back to when the neon burned brightest with the Vintage Vice City Pack, featuring the timeless two-tone ’55 Vapid Stanier sedan and Shore Court Garage alongside the world-famous Ocean Beach, decadent outfits and hairstyles for both Jason and Lucia, and an iconic weapon pattern that echoes the excess of the past."

The pack includes: Jason in an effortlessly chic linen suit in vintage pastel, and Lucia in a red sequin mini dress and curls. It is included with all digital purchases of GTA 6 made before November 20, 2026, and with preorders of the physical version while supplies last.

A digital preorder also grants a free month of GTA+.
