Frontier Developments, known for Jurassic World Evolution, Planet Zoo, and Planet Coaster, has signed a deal with Disney to create a new game. The announcement came via a press release, which mentioned that the project will leverage Frontier's expertise in the creative management simulation genre, suggesting a Disney-themed sim game. Speculation points to a potential Disneyland park creator, especially given Frontier's history with licensed properties like Jurassic World Evolution and their 2011 Kinect: Disneyland Adventures, which was later remastered for non-Kinect play. Frontier CEO Jo Cooke expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, 'Our mission with this game is to connect a passionate creative community of players with one of the world's most iconic and beloved brands.' In addition to the Disney project, Frontier confirmed another unannounced Planet sim game in development. Planet Zoo 2 is slated for an October release, and Frontier will also publish the strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Deathwatch.
