
RuneScape: Dragonwilds will be available as a day one Xbox Game Pass title next month, developer Jagex has announced.
The open world, co-op, crafting and survival game is the first standalone title in Jagex’s long-running medieval MMORPG franchise, and the first RuneScape game set for consoles. It’s sold over 1 million copies during early access already.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds launches on September 15 in 1.0 form, which includes the brand-new Scorned Wilderness update, alongside all content from the upcoming Umbral Sands expansion. As confirmed at State of Play in June, RuneScape: Dragonwilds is also a day one launch on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium.
RuneScape: Dragonwilds launches its 1.0 version in both Digital Standard and Deluxe Editions for PC via Steam, the Jagex Launcher, and Epic Games Store on September 15, alongside its release on PlayStation 5 (and on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers for subscribers), and Xbox Series X and S.
The game will also be available as a Digital Standard Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 15. Physical Standard and Deluxe Editions of RuneScape: Dragonwilds will be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in Q4 2026.
Microsoft has yet to announce September Game Pass games beyond Shelldiver (Cloud, Console, and PC), which hits Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass on September 1. Here's everything coming to Xbox Game Pass during the rest of August.
