007 First Light Free DLC Arriving Later This Week

007 First Light is set to receive new, free DLC later this week. IO Interactive teased the upcoming content with a short video on its social media channels, confirming a release on Thursday, October 2. While the DLC will be free, IO is staying quiet about what it will include. However, based on previous information, it's likely the long-awaited Aston Martin Valhalla update. This content has been teased in the game's main menu since launch, and it looks like it's finally being added.

The update is expected to feature a new TacSim mission with the Aston Martin Valhalla, which appears near the end of the game in a major set piece. Given the lengthy wait, it's hard to believe this will be just a short, single TacSim mission. It may also bring other items from the game's larger roadmap, such as New Game+, new gadgets, and additional missions and content.
