Ghost of Yōtei Adds Roguelike Survival Mode Featuring Jin from Ghost of Tsushima

PlayStation's hit game Ghost of Yōtei is set to receive a new single-player roguelike mode called Most Wanted, included in its Complete Edition alongside the upcoming expansion Echoes of Sekigahara. In this mode, players will hunt down Most Wanted targets, facing progressively tougher combat scenarios with various modifiers. Successfully defeating these targets will unlock additional characters, including Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima, who brings all four of his signature stances to the fight.

Atsu, Oyuki, and Nagato will also be playable before unlocking Jin. Sucker Punch Productions' Andrew Goldfarb explained, "For Jin, our animation and character art teams worked hard to take his Ghost of Tsushima model and keep it faithful while also applying upgrades for Ghost of Yōtei. Jin can use his katana with all four of the original stances from Ghost of Tsushima, helping to exploit enemy weaknesses. He also starts with a Sticky Bomb and hankyu. Jin’s Ultimate is the Dance of Wrath skill from Ghost of Tsushima, which targets multiple enemies and disarms them, and his Kill Streak is, of course, Ghost Stance, which allows him to terrify the enemies around him and kill a limited amount of them in a single hit."

All this content will launch on October 1, the same date previously announced for Echoes of Sekigahara. Current owners of the game can upgrade for $14.99, or they can purchase the Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition digitally for $69.99, with new content unlocking on October 1.
