Kick Streamer Neon Reacts to Possible GTA 6 Cameo in Netflix Showcase

Prominent Kick streamer Neon has spoken out after Rockstar seemingly included a nod to him in a side mission during the special GTA 6 first-look trailer on Netflix. The gaming world was set ablaze yesterday when Rockstar premiered 26 minutes of Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay on Netflix, causing brief outages on the platform and even on Twitch, where many streamers were live-reacting to the showcase.

In the highly anticipated showcase, a mission featured Lucia stealing a car, only for a content creator to pop out of the trunk post-heist, exclaiming to his viewers, “Holy sh*t chat, what do I do?” Fans quickly drew parallels between this fictional influencer and real-life streamer Neon, noting similar facial features and a matching hairstyle. This prompted a wave of Leonardo DiCaprio pointing memes across social media.

The next day, Neon went live on Kick to address the speculation. While he didn't confirm whether he was the inspiration for the character, he expressed gratitude to his audience for propelling him to a level where such a theory is plausible.

“We made it! We fkin’ did it!” an excited Neon said from the back of a car. “Shout out to everyone in the chat. I've seen some reactions: A lot of people weren't the happiest, a lot of people were showing support. Two streamers did text me. You know who you are, and I appreciate you. Thank you guys. …Would a B-Tier streamer really be in [this game]? Nah, I’m just kidding. That is fkin’ sick, bro! Streaming is really taking over the game. I'm just so happy and blessed and grateful to even be seen like that, in that way.”

The moment also triggered reactions from other top broadcasters. Kai Cenat, IShowSpeed, and Jynxi were all stunned to see a streamer character in the game.

“Wait, chat, they got streamers in the game?” a bewildered IShowSpeed asked.

“Is that a streamer?” Kai Cenat shouted, visibly shocked.

“They have streamers. They’re adding streamers to GTA 6,” a surprised Jynxi said. “Oh my god, it’s a brainrot IRL streamer, too!”
