Kit Harington of Game of Thrones Fame May Not Be a Gamer, but He's Eager to Play Grand Theft Auto 6

Kit Harington, known for his role as Jon Snow in Game of Thrones, has admitted that he's not an avid gamer, but he's eager to play Grand Theft Auto 6. In a recent interview with Josh Horowitz, Harington looked back on his interactions with the gaming world. After discussing his part in Silent Hill: Revelation, a live-action movie based on the popular horror game series, he was asked if he considered himself a gamer. Harington admitted he hadn't played much of the Silent Hill games, but had dabbled in Tekken, Mario Kart, Diddy Kong Racing, and more recently, Hogwarts Legacy. When Horowitz inquired if he had ever played Grand Theft Auto, Harington expressed a desire to play Grand Theft Auto 6 after seeing some of its advertisements. He also shared his appreciation for real-life videos that parody GTA's style. This demonstrates the growing influence of GTA 6, as even those who don't typically play games are becoming intrigued. Rockstar is investing heavily to promote the game to a wide audience. They've put together a star-studded lineup of musicians for an original soundtrack, spent nearly $1 million on a 'Welcome to Vice City' sign in Miami, and are expected to keep ramping up marketing as launch approaches. NBA star Steven Adams even joked that the league's performance might dip when GTA 6 comes out in November. As for Harington, he didn't confirm whether he'll actually play GTA 6. He has some gaming background, having played the main villain in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and voiced Jon Snow in Telltale's Game of Thrones video game.
