During a panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls revealed its first Year 1 DLC character alongside its opening movie. The DLC character is Phoenix Cyclops, voiced by Ray Chase, who also voices Cyclops in the Disney+ series X-Men '97 and the hero shooter Marvel Rivals. The opening movie for the game was also shown, offering a glimpse into its cinematic style.
