Rockstar has unveiled the cover art for GTA 6 and confirmed that pre-orders for the highly anticipated blockbuster will begin on June 25. The artwork was showcased in a 30-second teaser video released on Rockstar's YouTube channel this morning. Note that this is not the next trailer—fans are still awaiting that, possibly on June 25 as well.

With pre-orders opening next week, June 25 will finally reveal GTA 6's price point, a topic of intense speculation. Will it be $70, $80, or even $100 to cover its massive development costs? However, the game is expected to recoup these over time, much like GTA 5 continues to generate significant revenue.

At the iicon gaming conference in April, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick indicated the company would ensure the price feels fair to players. "Consumers pay for the value you bring them, and our job is to charge far less than the value delivered," Zelnick said. "Players need to feel the game is amazing and the price is fair for what they get." He added that the goal is to create the most spectacular entertainment in history, and if achieved, the financial upside will follow.

A high-quality version of the cover art, shared with IGN, features protagonists Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, flanked by a motorbike performing a stunt alongside a cop car and a helicopter with a minigun. Below, an unknown woman wears a necklace reading "siempre" (Spanish for "always"), while supporting character Boobie Ike, a real estate mogul and club owner, appears on the right. At the bottom, veteran bank robber Raul Bautista, a sports car, a speedboat with a flamingo, and a hungry alligator are depicted. The artwork emphasizes the game's core elements: firearms, diverse vehicles in urban settings, and an open world with wildlife.

GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Stay tuned for updates on the Rockstar hack saga, Zelnick's comments on a potential digital-only release, and more leading up to launch.
