Marvel's Wolverine PS5 Limited Edition Console and Covers Revealed

Sony has announced a limited edition PS5 bundle and console covers themed around Marvel's Wolverine, the upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive from Insomniac Games. The bundle, available from September 15, includes a digital edition PS5 with a yellow design inspired by Logan's classic suit, complete with claw slash markings and a roaring Wolverine on the top. It comes with a matching controller, but the vertical stand is not included.

For those who don't want a new console, Sony will sell covers for the PS5 (Slim) and PS5 Pro, including versions for disc-drive models. PS5 Pro owners can also opt for a silvery white 'adamantium' variant, along with a matching controller.

The announcement has drawn criticism from fans who note that Sony is again prioritizing digital over physical media, especially after the recent decision to stop producing discs for new PS5 games from January 2028.
