Straight4 Studios has dropped the next wave of content for Project Motor Racing, as the development team continues to refine and expand its 2025 sim racing title, which received a lukewarm reception at launch. The GT Icons Pack introduces nine new vehicles and a fresh track, spanning three distinct eras of classic GT and sports car racing, with three cars representing each era. The new cars are listed below: [list of cars]. The pack also features a circuit dubbed "Rocky Knoll Raceway," an unlicensed interpretation of the real-world Road America track. This marks the first DLC for Project Motor Racing since the hiring of sim racing veteran Aristotelis Vasilakos, who joined Straight4 Studios in late May as chief creative officer. Vasilakos previously served as head of vehicle handling for Assetto Corsa: Competizione and contributed to the handling and physics of the original Assetto Corsa. Following a rocky launch in November 2025, a major update in March aimed to "reset PMR's foundation and bring the sim much closer to what a serious motorsport title should feel like."
