A major Steam leak has revealed achievements for a host of upcoming games, including highly anticipated titles like Persona 6 and Kingdom Hearts 4. The spoiler-laden achievements were discovered on the tracking site Exophase, and for Kingdom Hearts 4, they even hint at unannounced worlds. Meanwhile, Persona 6's achievements tease key plot points.
Persona 6 was only recently announced during June's Xbox Games Showcase with a teaser trailer, and little is known about it. However, we do know it will be available on Game Pass from day one, and it's slated for release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Here's the official description from the announcement.
As for Kingdom Hearts 4, Square Enix has only officially revealed one world so far: Coco. But last month, co-director Tai Yasue and series creator Tetsuya Nomura reassured fans that the game is '100%' on track for its late 2027 release window, with no delays expected.
The leak also exposed achievements for several unannounced games, including a Steam port of Capcom's beloved Nintendo 3DS title, Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Additionally, there are unannounced titles from Nickelodeon, a Telltale Games The Walking Dead Collection, and a Tetris game. Gematsu has compiled a full list.
The administrator of Exophase, known as x3sphere, attributed the leak to Valve, the owner of Steam. In a post on ResetEra, they explained: 'Seems like a possible screw up on Valve's end, a bunch of games with achievements that should be private are accessible through the API right now and that's why they got scanned into the site. I usually never see games without an actual name pop up with achievements, yet over the past hour or so a bunch have (when there's an unknown name we just set it to the AppID).'
