Capcom, the publisher behind three hit games this year—Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword—is opening its first retail store in the United States. The store will be a pop-up located in Little Akihabara in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. The grand opening is this Saturday, September 19, and a limited number of attendees will have the chance to play the upcoming Mega Man: Dual Override on Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, the first 50 shoppers on September 19 and 20 will receive a limited-edition Tokyo Game Show handkerchief featuring popular Capcom games.

The pop-up will run through October 18 at Little Akihabara Popup Shop & Live, located at 319 E 2nd St. #122. Hours are from 12pm to 7pm. Merchandise includes plushies, t-shirts, keychains, and more. Check out some of the items in the gallery below.

Capcom also teased that the store will feature life-size statues of fan-favorite characters from Street Fighter and Mega Man, as well as additional playable demos of other Capcom games.

Capcom has had an excellent year so far, with Resident Evil Requiem surpassing 7 million units sold, Pragmata exceeding 2 million units sold in just over two weeks—which Capcom says makes a sequel likely—and Onimusha: Way of the Sword earning a 10 out of 10 review score from IGN. Looking ahead, Capcom aims to "re-activate IPs that haven’t had a new title launch recently," which could mean anything from Dino Crisis to Dead Rising or Lost Planet, to name a few.
