Diablo 5 Revealed at BlizzCon 2026

At BlizzCon 2026, Blizzard unveiled Diablo 5, a new mainline installment in its iconic action RPG series. A teaser trailer during the opening ceremony hinted at the return of the Lord of Terror, set a century after the events of Diablo 4. The development team also announced that Diablo 5 will launch in Spring 2029, six years after Diablo 4 and over thirty years since the franchise began. The story is confirmed to take place a full century after Diablo 4, making it the first game in the series set entirely in a post-apocalyptic world. Additionally, BlizzCon 2026 brought other Diablo updates: The Amazon, a new class pack for Diablo 4 arriving in 2027; the Diablo 4 Collection coming to Nintendo Switch 2; and Season 15, a playable retrospective of the Diablo franchise's history, available now.
