GTA 6 made a surprise appearance on South Park, showcasing nearly 20 seconds of genuine, exclusive gameplay that highlighted a dog poop mechanic.
The latest episode of Trey Parker and Matt Stone's hit comedy series, titled "Guinea Pig On A Stick," features a dog doing its business on a beach (classic South Park!). An NPC dog walker picks up the poop, and then things get messy: Jason attacks the NPC with the dog poop, which explodes in their face. That's one way to start a fight.
The gameplay is shown during a scene where the main characters visit a cattle ranch, and a woman hypes up GTA 6 by giving a quick look at the game. "The graphics are seriously next level," she says. "You see the worldbuilding? It's a dog taking a poop. And people can pick up the dog poop. You can throw things at the person with dog poop, and if they choose to fight back, you can pick up the dog poop and actually attack them with the dog poop. That is what's coming in November."
"Wow!" Stan says. "Holy st!" Kyle exclaims. "Dude, that game looks f*ing tits!" Cartman offers.

The woman is voiced by Tish Hicks (as confirmed in the episode's credits). Hicks is a voice actor who narrated the GTA 5 gameplay trailer years ago, so fans will likely find her voice familiar.
As for the gameplay, Rockstar had already confirmed the dog poop mechanic, but it's fun to see it in action. And it's great to get a sense of the density of NPCs on the beach in gameplay, too, given this sort of scene has been at the heart of official pre-launch videos and screenshots.
South Park is no stranger to video games, with its 2006 World of Warcraft episode perhaps the most high-profile example of Parker and Stone taking aim at the culture. But it's also had plenty to say about Rockstar games, too. Red Dead Redemption 2, for example, was at the heart of episodes "Time to Get Cereal" and "Nobody Got Cereal?", which featured the game heavily.
With GTA 6's November 19 release date just weeks away, Rockstar's marketing has ramped up considerably. And we're learning more and more about how the game works every day. Overnight, we learned how GTA 6 named one of its biggest mechanics after a beloved GTA 4 meme, and how GTA 6's map will open up relatively early and let you explore freely.
