GTA 6 Confirms Return of a GTA Online Character

Grand Theft Auto 6 is bringing back at least one character from GTA Online, and fans are already speculating about who else might show up.

In Rockstar's extended look at GTA 6, players were introduced to a variety of new characters with different moral alignments. One character that might have slipped under the radar is Valentina, who was introduced in GTA Online last year. She first appeared in a cutscene for the Money Fronts update, where she was seen stepping off a private jet and chatting with Mr. Faber. At the time, her role seemed minor, but now it looks like she'll have a bigger part in GTA 6.

Valentina hires Jason and Lucia to provide security for a VIP at a party that inevitably gets crashed by armed thugs. It's unclear if she'll have a larger role beyond this mission, but it wouldn't be surprising if she does. This also raises questions about what other characters or elements Rockstar has been planting in GTA Online over the years. Naturally, fans are hoping to see Michael, Franklin, and Trevor return in GTA 6, but whether that will happen remains to be seen.

GTA 5 and GTA Online featured several characters from GTA 4, including Brucie, Karen, Packie, and others. It wouldn't be shocking if Rockstar continues this trend, bringing back minor characters from previous games in GTA 6. We won't get definitive answers until launch, but this small reveal is sure to fuel rampant speculation.
