
Grinding Gear Games has officially announced that Path of Exile 2 will release its 1.0 version in December. The studio revealed the long-awaited release schedule update with a new trailer during gamescom Opening Night Live (ONL) 2026, confirming that the free-to-play action-RPG will be available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, on December 11, 2026. The trailer blended gameplay footage with cinematic scenes, promising players a complete experience just in time for the holiday season. Grinding Gear also shared additional details on their website, encouraging interested fans to sign up for more information and unlock exclusive rewards. "Everyone, including existing players, is welcome to sign up - no Path of Exile account required," the studio stated. "Once Path of Exile 2 Full Release launches, you'll be emailed a code to claim any rewards you've unlocked. By entering your details, you consent to Grinding Gear Games sending you direct marketing emails about Path of Exile 2. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of our emails. You must be subscribed to the mailing list at the time rewards are distributed to receive them. Each reward can only be claimed once per account."
