Sony has unveiled the PlayStation Plus Monthly games lineup for May 2026, headlined by EA Sports FC 26. The other two titles are Soulslike action RPG Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and indie Metroidvania Nine Sols. All three games will be available to download from Tuesday, May 5.
EA Sports FC 26, the latest entry in the former FIFA franchise, launched last September and features the usual modes including Ultimate Team, along with a refreshed Rivals and Champs experience. Subscribers can also claim an "EA Sports FC 26 PlayStation Plus Icons Pack" over the next month. In IGN's 7/10 review, we noted that while the on-pitch gameplay is the best in years, the aggressive Season Pass shows EA at its most money-hungry.
For Souls fans, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers offers a compelling experience. Set during China's Ming Dynasty, you play as pirate warrior Wuchang, exploring a vast land to uncover why people are mutating into monsters. It stands out for its flexible character builds and well-crafted world. IGN gave it an 8/10, praising its excellent combat, level design, skill tree, and bosses, but warned of steep difficulty spikes and cheap ambushes.
Rounding out the lineup is Nine Sols, a lore-rich, hand-drawn 2D action-platformer with Sekiro-inspired deflection-focused combat. Released in 2024, it has received positive reviews.
As a reminder, April's selection—Lords of the Fallen, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream—must be added to your library by May 4.
