Invincible VS has completed its launch roster with the confirmation of Conquest as the 18th playable character in the upcoming 3v3 tag fighting game. As the April 30, 2026 release date approaches, Skybound Entertainment and developer Quarter Up have shared details on an open beta and the first two DLC characters. The open beta will be available on consoles from April 9 to April 11, offering three modes: Tutorial, Practice, and Ranked. All participants will receive a bonus Omni-Man skin. Quarter Up announced that the first two DLC characters, Universa and the Immortal, are set to arrive this summer.
Conquest, a character familiar to fans of the Prime Video Invincible show, is described as a 'Striker' in gameplay terms. This means he excels at applying pressure and overpowering opponents with powerful strikes. His abilities include a charging punch that builds speed and gains super armor as it travels, allowing players to time armored moves to break through enemy attacks.
With Conquest's addition, the full launch roster is now known, though some notable characters are missing. Angstrom Levy is a significant omission, and the absence of the Mauler Twins, Shrinking Rae, Darkwing, and Shapesmith is surprising. More characters are planned as DLC, potentially bringing in nearly every character from the Invincible universe if the game succeeds. However, at launch, the roster feels heavily weighted toward Viltrumites.
The open beta will feature 10 characters: Mark (Invincible), Atom Eve, Omni-Man, Allen, Battle Beast, Rex, Robot, Monster Girl, Thula, and Bulletproof. It includes six unique arenas: Hometown Invasion (Night), The Moon, Ka-Hor's Tomb (Day), Himalayas, Kinetic Chamber, and Training Room.
Invincible VS launches on April 30, 2026 for Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
