Sony has officially announced the PlayStation Plus monthly games for June 2026, marking the first lineup reveal since the recent price increase. The standout title is Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, widely considered one of the best Warhammer 40K games available. It joins Grounded Fully Yoked Edition and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, all accessible to all PlayStation Plus members from June 2 to July 6. Additionally, EA Sports FC 26 remains available as a monthly game until June 16, coinciding with the World Cup kickoff.
Darktide, developed by Fatshark, is a co-op first-person shooter set in Games Workshop's grimdark universe. Though it launched poorly on PC in 2022, it has since received substantial updates and is now in excellent shape. Its arrival on PlayStation Plus is well-timed, as a new Skitarii class joins the game on June 23. Unlike many Warhammer 40K games, Darktide does not let players control Space Marines; instead, it offers classes from other factions, such as the Skitarii from the Adeptus Mechanicus or the Ogryn from the Astra Militarum.
This announcement comes after Sony raised PlayStation Plus prices, sparking customer backlash. New pricing applies only to new subscribers; existing members (except in Turkey and India) are unaffected unless their subscription changes or lapses. Notably, the 12-month plan remains unchanged, suggesting a push toward pricier tiers.
Sony also confirmed that Destiny 2: Legacy Collection (2025), including The Final Shape expansion, will be available for Extra and Premium/Deluxe members starting June 9. The full Game Catalog lineup will be revealed next month. This news follows Bungie's surprise announcement that the final Destiny 2 update will arrive on June 9, effectively ending the Destiny era that began in 2014. The announcement has raised concerns about Bungie's future amid layoffs and the underperformance of Marathon, its recent extraction shooter.
Lastly, PlayStation Plus members have until June 2 to claim Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and Nine Sols for their game library.
