Bethesda and id Software have given fans a first look at Doom: The Dark Ages | Revelations, a new campaign DLC arriving on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S with a July 7, 2026 release date. The first gameplay footage shows the Doomslayer staying true to the medieval theme, wielding a new spear weapon to tear through enemies in snowy environments. The spear can be thrown at demons, but it also reflects bullets, grapples to ledges, and lets the Slayer levitate around foes. This expansion marks the first campaign DLC for Doom: The Dark Ages, launching this summer. Check out the bloody gameplay below. According to an official story description from Bethesda, 'Wounded and betrayed, the Slayer is thrust into a merciless purgatory only escapable by confronting haunting truths and forging new strength with the help of a mysterious ally. He must ascend from the prison of his mind and fight an abomination of the gods to set his followers on the path to freedom.'
