Crimson Desert has been a massive success, selling over 6 million copies in less than three months. Despite a mixed initial reception at launch, the sprawling single-player open-world action-adventure has won over fans, who are amazed by the weekly updates Pearl Abyss has been delivering. Each update improves game quality and adds meaningful—and often surprising—new content.

He broke down the game's early success, lessons learned from post-launch updates, and how the developers have quickly addressed feedback and released massive updates in a timely manner since launch.
