Developer Odaclick Game Studio and publisher Trailmark Games have unveiled The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival, a new pixel-art beat 'em up featuring Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, and Michonne. The single-player game, set in the world of AMC's zombie franchise, was announced today with its debut trailer. It's heading to PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, though no release date has been revealed.

The first 30-second gameplay clip shows Rick, Daryl, and Michonne as the three playable characters, each wielding signature weapons from the TV series. Rick uses his trusty magnum revolver, Daryl slices through enemies with knives and a crossbow, and Michonne, of course, swings her katana.

From the many storylines available, Odaclick and Trailmark chose the franchise's bloodiest conflict: All Out War. This arc sees Rick's group battling The Saviors, led by the iconic barbed-wire baseball bat-wielding villain, Negan. An official description reads: "Based on the events of the All Out War storyline, fight through a campaign that reimagines the Saviors conflict, featuring walkers, threats, and surprises from across AMC's The Walking Dead. Explore familiar locations like the Sanctuary, Hilltop, and Alexandria, enhanced with dynamic set pieces, environmental hazards, and intense story-driven moments."

The trailer shows Rick, Daryl, and Michonne taking down both zombie and human enemies, with characters like Negan and Simon appearing as "multi-phase boss battles." Winslow and the Well Walker also make the boss roster. Odaclick and Trailmark say players can master each character's moves across multiple difficulty settings, but for now, Streets of Survival has no mention of multiplayer.

While no release date is set, a demo is available on Steam for PC players. Trailmark noted in a press release that today's reveal is the "first of many announcements" from the new publisher. Odaclick is also behind The Karate Kid: Street Rumble, which shares a similar style.

The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival will hit PC and consoles at an unspecified future date. For more on the post-apocalyptic universe, check out why executive producer Scott Gimple believes the franchise could still be going strong in 15 years.
