Blizzard Entertainment is gearing up to unveil the future of the Diablo franchise during its 30th Anniversary Spotlight event tomorrow. Following last week's massive Overwatch presentation, the February 11 showcase promises extended looks at announcements and updates for the beloved dungeon-crawling series. Fans can expect news about Diablo 4, Diablo 2: Resurrected, and Diablo Immortal as all three titles aim to keep players hunting for loot through 2026.

Unlike the hero shooter presentation, Blizzard has already dropped some hints about what's coming. Diablo 4, which launched in June 2023 and received its Vessel of Hatred expansion in October 2024, is racing toward its next expansion, Lord of Hatred, scheduled for April. While we already know one of the two new classes will be the Paladin, Blizzard confirms the Spotlight will also reveal the second, currently undisclosed class. The World of Warcraft developer also teased a deep dive into "major updates to skill trees" and new endgame systems.

Diablo 2: Resurrected makes a surprising appearance in the Spotlight lineup. Blizzard has been vague about what to expect from the Diablo 2 remake, only stating that "there's a lot we want to share with you" ahead of Ladder Season 13 launching on February 20. Some players hope for quality-of-life improvements, while others speculate about a potential Steam release. Given that the 2021 remake stayed largely faithful to the original 2000 experience, its future direction remains uncertain.

Rounding out the presentation is Diablo Immortal, Blizzard's 2022 mobile spinoff. The company has confirmed a detailed look at the 2026 roadmap, with the ongoing story taking players "deeper into a world shaped by corruption, conflict, and consequences." A recent blog post promises information about a new class, a new region, and "the return of a malevolent force."

The Diablo 30th Anniversary Spotlight premieres on February 11 at 2pm PT/5pm ET, streaming live on Twitch and YouTube.
