Arc Raiders continues to dominate the gaming landscape, with publisher Nexon announcing the extraction shooter has sold a staggering 14 million copies. The Korean company revealed in its latest financial report that the game has "significantly exceeded expectations," boasting approximately six million weekly active users.

Last month, the game reached an impressive peak of nearly 960,000 concurrent players online simultaneously—a remarkable achievement for a title that launched just three months prior on October 30, 2025. Nexon shared with investors that since its debut, Arc Raiders has consistently held top positions on Steam's Top Sellers list, as well as on PlayStation and Xbox platforms, demonstrating "exceptional retention and strong player metrics."

Developed by Embark Studios—a Swedish company founded by former DICE (Battlefield) employees—Arc Raiders experienced a meteoric launch last year, selling four million copies in under two weeks and reaching 12 million by early January. The game has since added another two million sales in just one month.

While Steamcharts data shows player numbers have slightly declined in February, dipping below 250,000 concurrent players for the first time this week, the game maintains strong community support. Players continue to praise Embark Studios for their responsive handling of technical issues, including recent item duplication glitches and exploits.

The studio has implemented a comprehensive post-launch strategy to maintain engagement, featuring frequent gameplay adjustments, new content releases, and a detailed four-month roadmap. Currently in the midst of its Headwinds update, Arc Raiders will soon introduce the Shrouded Sky chapter, bringing a new map condition and additional Arc threats later this month.

Notably absent from Nexon's financial briefing was any mention of the rumored StarCraft shooter project that reports suggest the company has begun assembling a team to develop.
