A leak has surfaced online revealing Sony's primary addition to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for April 2026. As is often the case, the reliable leaker billbil-kun from Dealabs has shared details ahead of the official announcement, though only one game has been confirmed so far.
That title is Lords of the Fallen, the 2023 action RPG in the Souls-like genre, which serves as a follow-up to the 2014 game with the same name. All PlayStation Plus subscribers, regardless of their membership tier (Essential, Extra, or Premium), will have access to this game from April 7 to May 5.
The inclusion of Lords of the Fallen in PlayStation Plus comes at an opportune moment. It follows the unexpected release of Update 2.5 in December and precedes the launch of its full sequel, Lords of the Fallen 2, scheduled for later this year. The sequel is anticipated to enhance the series' signature dismemberment and gore, with features like the ability to remove every limb.
In IGN's review, Lords of the Fallen received an 8/10 rating, praised for its innovative mechanic of switching between two world versions to tackle puzzles and combat enemies, which distinguishes it from other games in the genre. However, the review noted that this concept is somewhat hindered by technical glitches and underwhelming boss battles, though these are offset by expansive explorable areas and robust character customization options.
Sony is expected to officially announce the complete list of PlayStation Plus Game Catalog additions for next month on Wednesday, March 31. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
