Dispatch, the acclaimed superhero workplace comedy game, is finally making its way to Xbox platforms this summer. The announcement came during today's Xbox Partner Preview event, revealing that Dispatch will be available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox for PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming during the summer months, though no exact release date was provided.

Notably absent from the announcement was any mention of Dispatch joining Xbox Game Pass, which is somewhat disappointing. However, the hilarious superpowered adventure remains highly recommended. Players take control of a team of reformed misfits tasked with saving the world—and each other—in this laugh-out-loud experience.

Dispatch first launched on PC and PlayStation 5 in October of last year, with weekly episodic chapter releases. The game later arrived on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 in January, sparking some controversy due to unexpected censorship that covered up brief in-game nudity and a character flipping the bird.

Despite that issue, Dispatch has received overwhelmingly positive reviews overall. There's already talk of additional seasons and even an animated series in development. IGN praised the game in their review, awarding it a 9/10 and stating: 'A true spiritual successor to the Telltale Games of the 2010s, Dispatch cleverly toes the line between TV show and video game, delivering on both halves in equal measure.'
