Following last week's leak about the main PlayStation Plus Game Catalog addition for April 2026, a second title has now been revealed ahead of schedule. As usual, the reliable leaker billbil-kun from Dealabs has shared the upcoming month's lineup early. Last week, they indicated that the 2023 Souls-like action RPG Lords of the Fallen would be the headliner for April's PS Plus offerings.
Now, the same source has confirmed that Lords of the Fallen will be accompanied by Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream, the 2024 video game installment that incorporates MMORPG elements and ties into the popular anime series. This game includes 21 characters from various arcs of the anime, with players forming battle parties of four each to engage in large-scale, raid-like encounters against challenging bosses.
A description for the title reads: 'Enter a distorted version of the Sword Art Online world that exists beyond memories, time, and space in this action game featuring solo play and online co-op. Choose your role by selecting your favorite Sword Art Online characters and team up in 20-player raids to take down powerful enemies.'
PlayStation Plus subscribers across all membership tiers—Essential, Extra, and Premium—will have access to both Lords of the Fallen and Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream from April 7 to May 5. Regarding the remaining additions to next month's PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, Sony is expected to make an official announcement this Wednesday, April 1 (and no, that's not a joke). We'll provide updates as more information becomes available.
