Have you ever imagined Master Chief gazing thoughtfully into the distance from the side of a soda can? That vision is now a reality. According to a recent announcement on Xbox Wire, Microsoft is commemorating the 25th anniversary of Xbox this year by partnering with Fanta to launch a collection of limited-edition cans and bottles. Starting April 6, enthusiasts can scan QR codes on each package to unlock in-game rewards, Xbox-themed prizes, and participate in interactive challenges.

While beloved Xbox characters are adorning existing Fanta flavors, the collaboration has also inspired a brand-new taste: Fanta Crimson Sour Cherry. The complete range is showcased below.

The excitement continues with Fanta Rewards Chest challenges, offering fans opportunities to win items such as Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions, Xbox controllers, Xbox Series S consoles, and the new ROG Xbox Ally.

Additionally, digital in-game rewards are up for grabs, detailed as follows.

Dubbed a 'celebration of gaming and flavor,' an immersive Diablo 4 fan event will be held in Los Angeles from May 22-25 in partnership with Fanta. Attendees can confront Mephisto, who has hidden prizes and likely chilled Fanta cans. That mischievous Lord of Hatred—what antics will he pull next?

Amidst these festivities, the Xbox world is buzzing with activity, including preparations for an Xbox Games Showcase scheduled for June. Gears of War: E-Day will feature in this year's dedicated post-show Direct. Looking ahead, 2026 will bring Microsoft's new Fable reboot and Master Chief's return in Halo: Campaign Evolved. Closer on the horizon, Playground's Forza Horizon 6 revs up in May.
