A treasure trove of over 20 classic Warhammer PC games has landed on Steam through the new Warhammer Classics initiative. Publisher SNEG collaborated with Games Workshop and multiple developers and publishers to establish this label, which has revived more than 20 cult-favorite Warhammer titles for PC release. SNEG stated, 'Warhammer has been a pillar of PC gaming since the 1990s, covering genres from real-time strategy and turn-based tactics to fantasy sports, digital board games, and first-person shooters. With Warhammer Classics, these iconic chapters of its history are reintroduced for modern players, featuring seven games making their Steam debut and 12 returning to the digital platform.' Each title, whether debuting or returning, has been optimized for modern systems, 'ensuring smooth performance on current hardware while preserving the original gameplay that won fans' hearts,' SNEG added. The Steam debuts include Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat, Final Liberation: Warhammer Epic 40,000, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate, Warhammer 40,000: Rites of War, Warhammer: Dark Omen, Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior, and Warhammer: Mark of Chaos - Gold Edition. Returning games comprise Space Hulk, Space Hulk: Ascension, Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon, Warhammer 40,000: Sanctus Reach, Talisman: Horus Heresy, Talisman: Origins, Man O' War: Corsair – Warhammer Naval Battles, Warhammer Quest, Warhammer Quest 2: The End Times, Legacy of Dorn: Herald of Oblivion, Chainsaw Warrior, and Chainsaw Warrior: Lords of Night.
