Survios has officially announced that Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One: Evolved Edition is now available on the Nintendo Switch 2. This version introduces a unique control feature: when the Joy-Con is placed on a surface, the game automatically switches to precision mouse aiming, leveraging the handheld's mouse controls. Players can download it immediately from the Nintendo eShop.

The game first debuted as a VR title in December 2024, followed by a non-VR release on PC and PlayStation 5 on September 30, 2025. In Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One, you step into the shoes of ex-Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks as she ventures into the unexplored planet Purdan and encounters its native xenomorphs.

At IGN Live last year, Chief Product Officer TQ Jefferson discussed how Alien: Isolation shaped the development of this title. He noted, 'From a narrative and visual aesthetic perspective, Isolation was a major influence on Rogue Incursion. Often called a love letter to the first Alien film, we aimed to create a love letter to Aliens, particularly the third act where Ripley confronts the hive. Isolation sets the standard—it's an excellent game, and any developer working on an Alien title, regardless of play style or platform, will likely reference it in their discussions.'

Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One is already playable on Xbox Series X and S, PS5, and PC, with a PlayStation 4 version also in the works.
