Arrowhead, the developer of Helldivers 2, has revealed details about the next premium Warbond, Exo Experts, arriving on April 28. The Warbond promises to let players "stride with unwavering intent across hostile territory in a march of mech-enhanced Managed Democracy" and "demonstrate elite performance one prosperous hydraulic step at a time."

In an official PlayStation blog post, the team teased: "Machines… Our enemies… But they can also be forces for good, tools at our disposal, and when you need to fight fire with fire it is important to be an Exo Expert. The Ministry of Defense has authorised the immediate mobilisation of new Exosuits to aid in our ongoing war efforts against the enemies of Managed Democracy."

Key additions include the EXO-51 Lumberer, a modern take on the original Lumberers from the first Galactic War, equipped with an anti-tank cannon and flamethrower for maximum devastation. The EXO-55 Breakthrough features a flak cannon and ballistics shield, allowing players to face Super Earth's toughest foes while laying down heavy fire. The MGX-42 Bullet Storm is a disposable machine gun with caseless ammunition in multiple barrels.

For handheld weapons, there's the SMG-203 Gallant, a high-rate-of-fire submachine gun that sacrifices clip size for increased penetration, and the P-33 Missile Pistol, which uses guided, heat-propelled rounds with a lock-on feature that "proven to hit its target 60% of the time, every time."

Armor and cosmetics include the O-2 Heavy Operator armor, the state-mandated uniform for heavy machinery operators, paired with the Watchful Compatriot cape. The armor comes with the Oxygenator perk, allowing slightly faster movement. The Exosuit Certified title, Thumb of Approval emote, and victory pose complete the pack.

Arrowhead also recently revealed that players have caused 177 million friendly fire incidents in Helldivers 2's second year, with 34 million accidental deaths attributed to the Eagle Strafing Run.
