007 First Light Confirmed for 60fps on PS5 Pro

After months of worries about 007 First Light's performance, IO Interactive has confirmed the upcoming Bond game will run at 60fps. When gameplay was revealed in September 2025, fans grew concerned due to choppy frame rates, especially during busy action sequences. IO Interactive appears to have used extra development time to smooth out performance issues, confirming 60fps on PS5 Pro and in performance mode on base PS5. A quality mode will also be available, offering higher fidelity at 30fps. The developer hasn't addressed Xbox Series X performance, but it's expected to offer similar modes. The Xbox Series S version is more uncertain due to its weaker hardware. Despite performance concerns, 007 First Light has generated significant hype, earning a glowing preview earlier this month. IO Interactive insists it won't abandon its Hitman roots in favor of 007. The game launches on May 27, 2026, for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.
