Kodak Black Confirmed as GTA 6 NPC, Sparking Rumors of More Artist Cameos

Rapper Kodak Black will appear as an NPC in GTA 6, as revealed by a new batch of screenshots. Rockstar Games released 39 new screenshots to celebrate the game being two weeks from launch, and one of them shows Kodak Black holding a cup with the Jack of Hearts logo, a club in GTA 6. This club has been featured in various marketing materials, and Travis Scott even mentioned it in his song 'RHYNO,' which was made specifically for GTA 6's soundtrack. Speculation has been rampant that this club would host a variety of real-world artists, and Kodak Black's confirmation only adds fuel to that fire. It's not a stretch to imagine other artists like Scott or other rappers on the soundtrack also appearing in-game. There's precedent for this in previous GTA titles. In GTA Online, Dr. Dre appeared as a character players could do missions for. The game's nightclubs also featured real DJs such as Solomun, Tale of Us, and Dixon, so it's entirely possible Rockstar got these artists to perform at clubs in the game. We'll have to wait and see, but it's clear Rockstar has spared no expense with the talent for this game. While there will be some fresh faces in the cast, actor Stephen Root confirmed earlier this year that he will play Brian Heder in GTA 6. The character is expected to be Jason's boss and a drug runner. Some of the game's radio stations are also hosted by the likes of Lana Del Rey, Bad Bunny, Morgan Wallen, and other major musicians and celebrities. There may be other celebrity cameos in GTA 6, but Rockstar is trying to keep a veil of secrecy around the entire game to preserve the experience for launch. Speaking of launch, Rockstar Games confirmed earlier this week that pre-loading for GTA 6 will begin on November 10. The game will take up around 212 GBs of space on your storage device, so you may want to clear some space for this behemoth so you have all the time needed to prepare for launch.
