Peter Parker's Face Model Hints at Potential Marvel's Spider-Man 3 Development

Speculation is swirling today about the possibility of Marvel's Spider-Man 3 being in development at Insomniac Games, sparked by a social media post from the face model for Peter Parker. Ben Jordan, who portrays Peter Parker, shared an image on Instagram showing him in motion capture gear, accompanied by the cryptic caption 'IYKYK' and a spider emoji for added emphasis. Although the post was quickly deleted, it didn't escape the notice of eagle-eyed fans online, with one tweet exclaiming, 'SPIDER-MAN'S FACE MODEL JUST CONFIRMED THE NEXT SPIDER-MAN TITLE!!! HE'S GETTING SCANNED!!'

Insomniac Games previously recast the face model for Peter Parker in Marvel's Spider-Man: Remastered for PS5, replacing John Bubniak with Ben Jordan. At the time, creative director Bryan Intihar explained that the change was aimed at achieving a better facial match for actor Yuri Lowenthal, who provides the voice for the character.

While Insomniac is currently focused on preparing Marvel's Wolverine for its release later this year, discussions about another Spider-Man installment are hardly surprising. The key question now is whether Jordan's tease points to Marvel's Spider-Man 3 or perhaps a spinoff game, leaving fans eagerly awaiting official confirmation.
