Epic Games has unveiled the key artwork for Fortnite's next season, officially announcing the comeback of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and the debut of Bugs Bunny. The new season, titled Showdown and launching later this week, marks the long-awaited return of Johnson's character, The Foundation—a moment Fortnite lore enthusiasts have anticipated for years, with Epic Games dropping hints along the way. Additionally, Looney Tunes characters are set to join the fray, with Bugs Bunny and other skins from the artwork expected to feature in the upcoming battle royale battle pass. Leakers have separately indicated that Daffy Duck and Lola Bunny will be available for purchase in the item shop. This season sees Fortnite diving back into its narrative, as The Foundation leads the remaining heroes against the revived Ice King. The battle pass lineup also includes a refreshed version of The Order, another member of The Seven, and a new iteration of the beloved Chapter 2 character, Jules. With four returning favorites, this battle pass boasts the most familiar faces in a single pass to date, fitting for a season that revisits Fortnite's earlier story elements.
