Rockstar Teases GTA 6 Soundtrack with Travis Scott, Future, Morgan Wallen, and More

Rockstar Games has started dropping hints about the soundtrack for Grand Theft Auto 6, sharing new artwork featuring Future, Travis Scott, and other artists.

Travis Scott, Future, and Morgan Wallen each posted close-up snippets of a larger piece of GTA 6 artwork. Scott's image showed a woman's feet in heels and included a caption that mentioned Rockstar. Wallen shared a caption-less picture of a pool ladder in Rockstar's signature art style. Fans quickly speculated that these were all teasing GTA 6, and that was confirmed when Future posted an image of a sports car with a Leonida license plate. Metro Boomin and Yung Lean also shared the same image on their profiles. Argentine hip hop duo CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso joined in with their own post, which featured a yacht.

It's likely that all of these musicians will have music in the game, but it's unclear if they'll have bigger roles as in-game characters or radio hosts. There's precedent for artists appearing as characters: Dr. Dre was prominently featured in GTA Online, Phil Collins appeared in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, and comedians like Ricky Gervais have shown up in person in games like GTA 4. Actor Stephen Root also confirmed his long-rumored role as Brian Heder in GTA 6 earlier this week, though it seemed to be an accidental slip rather than a planned reveal.

This appears to be just one part of Rockstar Games' massive marketing push for GTA 6, which kicked off this summer with pre-orders and an extensive gameplay reveal that debuted on Netflix. Rockstar is expected to keep the momentum going until launch, which is now just about two months away.
