GTA Online's upcoming major update, The Kortz Center Heist, is set to launch next week, and fans have already discovered several Rockstar-related Easter eggs. Rockstar Games confirmed the new update will be available from July 14, allowing players to rob the prestigious Kort Center art museum. Mansion owners will use a new art studio as a heist preparation room and complete a series of setup missions before the grand finale. As with any heist, you can choose between a loud or quiet approach, but those who complete it without raising suspicion will earn significantly more money.

Players can also keep paintings and display them in their mansions. New paintings will be added weekly, encouraging replayability. These aren't ordinary paintings—they reference other Rockstar titles. Eagle-eyed fans noticed one painting appears to reference Roman's death scene in GTA 4. There's also a Red Dead-inspired painting and one featuring a crowd of Rockstar characters, including CJ from San Andreas and Dutch from Red Dead.

Of course, the update will also introduce flashy new cars for players to buy with their ill-gotten gains. More details on those will come next week. For now, start assembling your crew, get a mansion, and prepare to invest in setup missions.

This could be the last major GTA Online update before GTA 6 launches in November. GTA Online updates typically arrive in summer and December, but GTA 6's release may shift plans. Rockstar might support the game longer since GTA 6 hasn't advertised any online component yet. While an online mode is likely in development, it may not launch until early next year. Only time will tell, but the future of GTA Online is uncertain.
