Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II is launching on May 21, coinciding with the Warhammer Skulls video game showcase.
Kasedo Games and Bulwark Studios' promising turn-based strategy title will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The release date was revealed alongside a new trailer showcasing two deployable leaders: the returning Lector-Dogmatis Videx of the Adeptus Mechanicus (Warhammer 40,000's tech priest faction) and the Necron Lord known as The Shield. Both factions are fully playable across multiple campaigns.
Warhammer Skulls is confirmed for May 21 at 6pm CEST / 5pm BST / 9am PT / 12pm ET, bringing updates for Space Marine 2, Darktide, and Dawn of War IV, along with new game announcements. Here's what to expect:
Space Marine 2 is due for Patch 13 soon, so we might see a release date or even a shadowdrop during the event. At the end of the teaser, a Servo-skull quickly moves across the screen, hinting at something new for Fatshark's Darktide—perhaps a new playable class or AdMech content?
Dawn of War IV is also ripe for a release date announcement. Notably absent from the list is Creative Assembly's highly anticipated Total War: Warhammer 40,000. Since it's already announced, any update for it at Skulls would likely be mentioned.
