Playground Games has officially detailed the graphics and performance modes for Forza Horizon 6 on Xbox Series X|S, just ahead of its release at the end of next week. The information was shared in a broader post that also covered the game's radio stations and accessibility features.

Both Xbox Series X and Series S will offer two rendering modes: Quality and Performance. Players can toggle between them based on their preference for visual fidelity or higher frame rates.

On Xbox Series X, Quality mode runs Forza Horizon 6 at native 4K resolution and 30fps, while Performance mode targets 4K but dynamically scales resolution to maintain a locked 60fps.

On Xbox Series S, Quality mode delivers 1440p at 30fps, and Performance mode hits 1080p at 60fps. Both modes on Series S dynamically scale resolution to keep their target frame rates stable.

Additionally, the post confirmed that Forza Horizon 6 will feature nine radio stations and the largest song list in any Horizon game to date. Loyalty reward cars for players of previous Forza titles were also listed.

If your Xbox Gamertag has played any Forza Horizon game or 2021's Forza Motorsport, you'll receive the associated cover car from Forza Horizon through Forza Horizon 5, plus the Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray from the 2021 cover. These cars are awarded after completing the Tokyo City introductory race with Mei. The exception is Forza Horizon 4's cover car: the 2018 McLaren Senna has been replaced by the 2016 Aston Martin Vulcan. The reason for the Senna's absence is unclear, but car licensing is notoriously tricky.
