The release date for Stranger Than Heaven has been revealed, and surprisingly, Tupac Shakur is in the game. During Summer Game Fest, it was announced that the game will launch on January 15th, 2027, and will feature several celebrities, including Snoop Dogg. The new trailer also confirmed Tupac's inclusion, though details about his role remain scarce. Given that Tupac passed away 30 years ago, it's unclear whether another actor will voice him, archival audio will be used, or he'll be a silent character. This revelation certainly raised eyebrows. Stranger Than Heaven is a new Yakuza/Like a Dragon prequel from RGG Studio, spanning five decades. Unlike Like a Dragon, it features dynamic, fluid combat that lets players use the environment and weapons. The game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC on January 15th, 2027, with Xbox Game Pass subscribers getting day-one access at no extra cost.
