Capcom's highly-anticipated Resident Evil Requiem is on the verge of release, with preloading already active on select platforms. The burning question for fans worldwide is exactly when they can dive into the action.

In a recent Steam announcement, Capcom has provided a comprehensive breakdown of the game's unlock times across key global regions, noting some variations depending on the platform.

For Steam users who have pre-ordered, preloading is now available, allowing you to quickly step back into the stylish jacket of Leon S. Kennedy as soon as the game goes live.

Globally, PlayStation and Xbox versions will generally become accessible at midnight local time on February 27. However, in the U.S., these consoles will sync with midnight EST (9pm Pacific).

PC players accessing the game through Steam or the Epic Games Store will encounter different timing, and there's an additional twist for the Nintendo Switch 2 launch specifically in Mexico.

With only hours remaining until Requiem's debut, a warning is in order about spoilers circulating rapidly online. Capcom has vowed to take "firm action" against leakers, though this hasn't stopped verified clips of the game's ending from spreading widely, as confirmed by IGN. Earlier this week, Resident Evil 2 director and renowned developer Hideki Kamiya expressed strong disapproval, stating that those who take pleasure in spoiling surprises for others "deserve a thousand deaths" and should "be cursed to never be able to play games again."
