NetEase Games is celebrating the 4th of July with a Marvel Rivals swimsuit skin that includes Captain America's very revealing outfit. The comic book hero shooter has been buzzing with reactions to the First Avenger's new cosmetic. This latest swimsuit addition to the game's expanding roster also features beachwear for Loki and White Fox, but Captain America's skin really stands out. Called Seaside Sentinel, the outfit gives Steve Rogers a USA summer makeover. Those who buy the cosmetic can swap his battle gear for an inflatable duck shield and a very tight mankini, complete with jiggle physics. The official description says, "The beach crew voted Captain America should man the grill, just like the red, white, and blue-blooded specimen of American masculinity people believe he is. Unfortunately, his skills on the grill were not nearly as calculated as his shield throws." The skin looks so bulky that many thought it was a fan-made mod, but IGN confirms it's real and available in the Marvel Rivals store. Social media reactions have been wild, with one Reddit user saying, "Bro Steve stole Thor's hammer," and another calling it "Literally America's ass." Despite NetEase claiming it doesn't intentionally create "gooner content," fans have noted the game's reliance on revealing outfits. At least now Captain America gets a piece of the action. Marvel Rivals is available on PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Other heroes with swimsuit skins include Daredevil and Black Widow.
