Forza Horizon 6 is now available for players who purchased the premium editions, with the standard edition releasing on May 19. Developer Playground Games has revealed the first set of free reward cars that will become accessible when the Festival Playlist goes live on May 21.
Series 1, titled 'Welcome to Japan,' runs from May 21 to June 18 and offers 10 new cars to collect, listed below.
This structure will be familiar to veterans of Forza Horizon 5's playlist system, but Playground has emphasized a change: Forza Horizon 6 introduces "unique secondary rewards to the Festival Playlist."
According to the team's latest post, "Series History Rewards" will include "exclusive cars that are unlocked based on the lifetime Playlist Points that you have obtained from playing the game."
The exact mechanics remain unclear, so we'll need to explore further next week. Forza Horizon's Festival Playlist has faced criticism for its heavy reliance on FOMO (fear of missing out).
If you haven't already, check out IGN's review for an in-depth look at why this 10/10 speedster is the best open-world racer. And if you're already tearing up Japan but need help finding treasure cars and barn finds, we've got you covered.
